POSITION SUMMARY
APH is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic Health Risk Assessment Team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our healthcare data repositories. Your precision and efficiency in entering and managing data will directly contribute to our ability to provide valuable insights to our health plans, case managers, data analysts, and shareholders.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately enter maimailed-inalth Risk Assessments (HRA) into the health plans database and Adobe’s electronic health record (EHR).
- Accurately transfer data from Nurse Practitioner Assessments into Health Risk Assessments.
- Accurately enter HRAs completed electronically by members into the health plans database and company EHR.
- Responsible for reentering any HRA that the system triggers as needing to be re-entered.
- Responsible for compiling a list of members due for an HRA and sending out a mass text to capture the HRA electronically.
- Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying and rectifying discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the HRA team, case managers, software developers, and data analysts, to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Perform routine data maintenance tasks, such as data cleaning, deduplication, and archival, while adhering to established protocols.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of standardized data entry procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Maintain a high level of data security and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Generate reports and summaries as required to support internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attend all applicable meetings as assigned or requested.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and tools, including Microsoft Excel and data management systems.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare data is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
