ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Monitors the Casino and associated areas, including guest and employees via close circuit television and via direct observation to ensure compliance with law, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Reports any irregularities to a Supervisor.
- Documents illegal activities with video tape, written statements and other evidence to assist in investigations.Interacts with Casino management, law enforcement and other regulatory agencies as required.
- Stays current with information on known cheaters, counters and scams as well as employees engaging in illegal or internal control violations.
GAMING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D.Minimum six to twelve months related experience in a gaming environment Knowledge of criminal offenses and regulations concerning tribal and federal gaming licensing requirements and procedures.Must have knowledge of all casino games, dealing procedures, counting methods and cheating techniques as well as internal controls.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 miles, climbing , stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and /or carry otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
