Job Description
In this role you will oversee all data management activities related to clinical database development, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency of data.
Responsibilities:
- Development of Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) (define.xml, annotated CRF, reviewer’s guide)
- Programming and validation of SDTM datasets
- Validation of clinical trial data according to SDTM specifications
- Deliverable database transfer to clients; electronic data transfers
- Overseeing electronic data transfer specification development
- Insuring deliverable database transfers to clients
- Acting as an escalation point for data management and statistics on matters of database programming and deliverable database development
- Preparation, participation and follows ups on internal and third-party study audits
- Developing guidelines and procedures pertinent to Database development
- Training of Database Developers and Data Management teams
- Preparing and attending meetings organized by client/vendor
Qualifications
Additional Information
- College or University degree (IT, programming, technical education)
- Sufficient relevant technical experience
- At least 5 years of industry experience in the capacity of Database Developer (or equivalent)
- Experience in Clinical Data Management systems is desirable
- Knowledge of SQL, XML
- Knowledge of and experience in the SAS programming
- Proficient user of standard MS Office applications and MS Access
- Experience in a professional environment, preferably with clinical or medical data
- Intermediate-Advanced English, written and spoken
- Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
