The Director Maternal Child is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in Labor and ! Delivery, Post Partum, Nursery and Pediatrics. This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Must have a valid license to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the state.
BSN required.
MSN or masters in related field preferred.
Specialty certification in obstetrics preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years acute care maternal/child experience, including two years of management or supervisory experience.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Licenses/Certificates:
Current BCLS & PALS, NRP within 6 months, ACLS within 6 months, and AWOHNN Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months.
