Statkraft’s Project Delivery Unit (PDU) is responsible for the design and construction of our solar, wind, hydro and storage plants across all geographies. Within PDU, our quality management teams are responsible for ensuring quality requirements are clearly managed and achieved during Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
As a Solar Quality Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our ground mounted solar PV projects. Your main focus will be the PV Plant and Grid Connection aspects in our projects in The Netherlands and you will collaborate closely with engineers, construction management and third party contractors. Beyond the Netherlands, you will also be part of an international competence network of quality managers, sharing knowledge and supporting the continuous development of our quality management processes and toolkit.
On a project basis, your main responsibilities will include:
- Undertake technical site inspections during project development
- Lead the production of Employer’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) for Construction and follow-up implementation and compliance with internal and external parties
- Review of detailed engineering documents for construction
- Undertake and manage others to undertake regular quality inspections onsite and reporting
- Witness and manage quality during commissioning and testing activities
- Review as-built documentation
We are looking for an experienced quality manager who has:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or construction or equivalent industry experience;
- several years’ relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years shall be in a construction quality management capacity within the utility scale solar sector.
- Professional level fluency of Dutsch and English
- an ‘eye for detail’ and appreciate the importance of standardisation and quality control.
- a ‘self-starting approach, taking responsibility for planning and managing your day to day work.
- Experience of solar plant or grid/HV engineering, procurement construction management or O&M will be an advantage
