Clinical Assessment 1:1 Performs history-taking and physical examinations thoroughly and independently. 1:2 Identifies psyche-social and cultural needs of patients and families. 1:3 Identifies patient and family needs with regards to preventative care, disease entity, medications, dietary restrictions and other therapeutic regimen. 1:4 Orders and interprets diagnostic regimen. 1:5 Collects and interprets data base. 1:6 Consults with physicians when appropriate. 2. Planning: 2:1 Develops a problem list from assessment data. 2:2 Establishes optimum goals considering the physical and emotional status of the patient. 2:3 Plans remedial actions within the framework of protocol or by collaboration with the physician. 2:4 Collaborates regularly with the physician and other members of the health care team in reference to the patient's health status and needs. 2:5 Refers problems when necessary to the physician. 2:6 Demonstrates the ability to plan for a discharge program to meet individual and family needs. 2:7 Provides for continuity of care through patient visitations which are determined by the patient's individual needs. 2:8 Reviews policies and procedures of the Clinic and provides recommendations and input. 3. Implementation: 3:1 Demonstrates the ability to monitor a diverse case load of patients in collaboration with the physicians. 3:2 Understands professional limitations and proceeds accordingly to obtain assistance and support from other members of the health care team. 3:3 Participates in patient care conferences and provides guidance and implementation of care. 3:4 Coordinates care of designated patient population to review reports, consultations and recommendations for other health care professionals. 3:5 Initiates plans, medications and/or treatment regimen within the guidelines or with physician consultation when a patient's condition so indicates. 3:6 Performs special procedures as indicated by the clinical setting. *****You must be a Murse Practitioner to be considered for this positions******Education: Graduate of an accredited school/training program (PA or NP) and capable of being licensed in the state in which the practice is located. Experience: Ortho and First Assistant experienceNeeds to be an experienced caregiver and have practical experience training in adequate levels so as to be fully prepared for the practice experience. Management Experience Required: Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.Experience consistent with generally accepted standards in the community. Administrative Skills: Communication Skills: Extensive telephone communicationCompose lettersCoordinate caregiving of non-physician personnel General Office Skills Deal with a variety of patient interactions Manage for the provision of an efficient office environment Equipment, Machines & Tools Used: Computer Equipment Documentation systems which effect the clinical and financial performance of the practice General Office Equipment Clinical equipment generally operated only by the physician or as the physician as the primary participant in the operation thereof WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Environmental Conditions: Occasionally exposed to changes in temperature and humidity levels.Consistently exposed to illness and disease
